Monitors

Our highly experienced monitors are certified by the Galician Surf Federation and are trained life guards, having worked for many years as monitors and life guards at Pantín beach.

All this experience, and the pleasure their work gives them, means they always have a smile on their faces. This job gives them the perfect opportunity to enjoy their favourite free-time activity, turning their hobby into their work.

Each monitor , specialises in teaching a particular type of customer (beginner, advanced, competition training) so that all your needs are covered.

You will also be able to enjoy other activities with them, and spend time together at our parties - at Pantín Surf Camp we guarantee fun in and out of the water. Here is a short profile of each of them so you can get to know them better.

• Daniel Bermudez "WASI"

  Wasi is two-times winner of the local Pantín championship. What more do you need to know? He has won two epic local championships, gaining him wild card invitations to compete in the Pantín Classic international championship. He was knocked out in the heats in 2008, how will he do in the 2009 Pantín Classic? You’ll see him, and, if you get lucky, he'll be your teacher. Watch out for his aerial stunts!

  Javiondo is a true classic, a life-long bodyboarder who finally went over to surfing. He has plenty of experience of the sea, having worked for many years as a lifeguard in Pantín. He specialises in teaching our youngest learners..
